Charlotte's Team Member (Full-Time or Part-Time)

Job Overview

Charlotte’s Coffee House is looking for friendly, adaptable, and service-driven Team Members to join our vibrant and fast-paced café environment. This cross-functional role includes barista duties, food preparation, kitchen expediting, cashiering, and front-of-house service. As a valued part of our team, your focus will be on creating memorable guest experiences and supporting smooth daily operations across all Charlotte’s locations.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service by anticipating guest needs and ensuring a warm, welcoming atmosphere.
   
• Prepare and serve beverages, coffee, and food items to meet quality and presentation standards.
   
• Maintain accuracy and timeliness in food orders while coordinating with kitchen and front-of-house staff.
   
• Operate the point-of-sale system, handle transactions, and manage cash responsibly.
   
• Follow daily opening and closing procedures to maintain efficient operations.
   
• Ensure all work areas are clean, sanitized, and well-stocked throughout the shift.
   
• Monitor inventory and assist in restocking and food ordering in alignment with health and safety standards.
   
• Collaborate with team members to maintain a smooth workflow and positive team culture.

Qualifications

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a guest-first mindset
   
• Ability to multitask and adapt in a high-energy environment
   
• Willingness to be cross-trained and work in multiple roles as needed
   
• Availability for a flexible schedule, including weekends
   
• Attention to detail, particularly in food presentation and cleanliness
   
• Prior experience in food service, hospitality, or café settings is preferred but not required.
   
• Familiarity with food safety protocols is a plus.
   
• Must be 18 years or older.

Compensation

• $12–$14 per hour + tips
